A new library exhibition illustrates the rich variety of university life
The launch of the University’s new Strategic Plan 2030 gave the University Archives the opportunity to revisit a project we supported during Stirling’s fiftieth anniversary celebrations in 2017.
One of the legacies of the university’s fiftieth was the publication of the book Fifty: The University of Stirling in 50 Objects. The book brought together an eclectic range of objects, people and places selected by the university community to represent Stirling. A new display on the library exhibition wall (re)presents a selection of thirty images from this original project which illustrate the current Strategic Plan’s key themes of People, Place and Purpose.
Copies of the book Fifty: The University of Stirling in 50 Objects are available on level three of the library (Long Loan: K 8.941 STI).
